Dr. Reza Rooholamini, Vice President

Enterprise Architecture and Technology

Dr. Reza Rooholamini is responsible for the architecture, development operations, new technology, and advanced product development at CCC Intelligent Solutions, the leading SaaS technology provider to the U.S. auto insurance industry. Since joining CCC in 2013, Reza’s responsibilities have included the full end-to-end architecture and technologies associated with the SaaS operation of CCC suite of service offerings.

Before CCC, Reza was responsible for the operating systems and complex computer solutions at Dell Inc. These solutions included database, messaging, super computers and data centers. He also worked as the engineering manager and architect at NCR and AT&T and as the professor of computer sciences at University of Wisconsin.  He has also served as a technology consultant to numerous companies and has served on several industry-standard committees. His current research interests are SaaS, cloud computing, DevOps, mobile computing, machine learning, data analytics and hyper scale data, and application platform design and implementation. He has contributed articles to more than two-dozen publications and is a frequent speaker at technology and industry conferences.

Reza earned a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an MS in electrical engineering and an MS in computer science from the University of Wisconsin. He also earned his Ph.D. in computer science/engineering from the University of Minnesota.

Aurelian Dumitru, Senior Director

Enterprise Architecture

Aurelian ‘AD’ Dumitru is an expert in Big Data, Cloud and Data Center with over 25 years of technology innovation and business leadership experience. A former startup owner, AD has a proven track record of designing and productizing Internet-scale solutions. He is well versed in all aspects of product lifecycle, everything from rough concepts and high-level design to working with Operations in taking the product to Production.

Among his many accomplishments, he was fortunate enough to participate in designing and building cloud infrastructures for the largest cloud providers including Amazon, Microsoft Azure, Yahoo, Facebook, Rackspace, and many others. At Nokia AD had the architecture charter for global cloud infrastructure, system engineering, and DevOps. At Dell AD helped establish the Hyper Scale Data Warehouse, Big Data and Cloud product engineering organization. AD has a MSEE in Electrical Engineering from Technical University of Iasi, Romania.

Christoph Plenio, Director

Research & Development

Christoph Plenio is Director of R&D at CCC Intelligent Solutions. He manages teams developing new innovative solutions in the areas of web and mobile development, machine learning and other emerging technologies.

Chris has over 20 years of experience in IT working in different sectors, including e-commerce, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, software development and, market research. Chris studied Computer Science and Business Administration at Reutlingen University, Germany and has lived and worked in the U.S., France and Germany.
