The CCC ONE® Product Family Grows with New Tablet Estimating App Designed for Windows® 8.1

Chicago, IL, October 17, 2013 – Quickly writing an estimate at the vehicle just became easier.

Today, at the NACE Conference in Las Vegas, CCC Intelligent Solutions announces the release of CCC ONE™ Touch, a highly visual and intuitive estimating solution for repairers. CCC ONE Touch leverages the CCC ONE® cloud-based platform and extends the CCC ONE™ Estimating logic, creating a new mobile app that embraces human touch as the most natural, simple, and familiar means of writing vehicle damage estimates. CCC ONE Touch is specifically developed to run on a wide variety on Microsoft Windows® 8.1 tablet devices, and includes larger icons, support for multipoint gestures, and use of the onboard integrated camera.

“Sophisticated consumers demand transparency and want to be engaged in the repair process,” said Joseph Allen, General Manager, CCC Automotive Services Group. “With CCC ONE Touch, repairers can now accomplish this by greeting their customer at the car with a tablet and completing the entire estimating process on the spot. From scanning the VIN, taking pictures, writing the estimate, sourcing parts and reviewing for compliance, to sharing the estimate with the customer via email and uploading it to the insurance company, the estimator never has to go back to his or her desktop computer. Envision that experience from the customer’s point of view.  We believe this will help repairers capture more sales by creating engagement and trust in the process.”

CCC ONE Touch is designed as an app for the Windows 8.1 operating system. “We chose Windows for a number of reasons,” said Ron Nelson, Vice President Products and Technology for CCC. “With Windows 8.1 our customers have many options for tablet hardware, including the 10-inch, and the smaller 7-inch minis. In addition, Windows 8.1 integrates seamlessly with repairers existing security, network, and printer investments. And because Windows 8.1 can run using the desktop or “modern mode” (designed for touch), repairers can use a single device to work at their desk or at the vehicle.  For convenience, CCC ONE Touch is cloud-connected which means a shop’s data is instantly and continuously synchronized across all phone, desktop, and tablet devices that are running CCC software.”

CCC ONE Touch is available at no additional charge to CCC ONE Estimating customers that subscribe to CCC ONE™ Digital Imaging, an important component for users to take full advantage of the visual experience that is CCC ONE Touch. Due to high pre-release demand, CCC ONE Touch will be rolled out in waves through the end of 2013 and into early 2014. To learn more about CCC ONE Touch, please visit: www.ccc-one.com/touch.
