In 2015 the industry emerged from an almost eight year pause in historic trends for automotive claim costs and frequency, with claim frequency essentially returning to levels last seen pre-recession. In this edition of CCC Trends, Susanna offers an outlook at what’s to come in 2016. Take a look at several factors driving an increase in claim frequency including economic shifts, miles driven, weather events and an increase in new vehicle sales.
